How to Create a Spotify Artist Playlist

Spotify is a huge platform for artists to share their music, make income and promote themselves. As an artist on Spotify you have access to your profile where you can edit your bio, add upcoming concerts, update pics and much more. There is a feature that I am seeing more and more artists use which is the artists playlist feature. This lets you add a playlist to your artist profile so that your followers and any visitors to your page may listen to the music you like! It's a great way to get extra plays and followers. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to get a playlist on to your artist profile.

FOR DESKTOP USERS

Step 1: Firstly you will want to head over to Spotify For Artists and log in with your details. Once having logged in you should head over to ‘Profile’, this should bring up your artist profile and editing options for your profile.

Here you should scroll to the bottom of your profile and there will be tab that says “Artist Playlists”.

Step 2: Once you have found the Artist Playlist section click on the + to choose a playlist to add to your profile. I should note that you will be able to add playlists created by other users as well as your own playlists which you have created from your private Spotify account!

Step 3: To choose the playlist you can simply type in the name of the playlist you want to add to your Artist Profile or you can copy and paste the link of the playlist into the search bar!

Step 4: Great! Once you have followed the steps above and chosen the playlist you want on your profile go ahead and hit save. The playlist will be added to your profile shortly after doing so!

‍FOR IPHONE OR ANDROID USERS:

Step 1: Head over to your Spotify For Artists app and sign in with your credentials. This will take you to your profile and you will want to scroll all the way to the bottom to find the Artist Playlist section.

Step 2: Once you have found the artist playlist section at the bottom of your profile you will want to tap on the '+' sign to add your playlist to your profile. Here you will be able to search for a playlist or simply copy a URL by opening up your spotify app and then coming back to your Spotify For Artists app and entering the URL in the search bar.

Step 3: Once you have selected your playlist you are all set to go! Just hit save on the top right and your playlist will be added to your profile shortly!
