Learn How To DJ: Join Our New Group Beginner DJ Course!

We're excited to announce to launch of a new group Beginner DJ Course. Our new group course is more affordable and more social. You can learn how to DJ in a small group at the London Sound Academy studios. Our beginners' course teaches you all the fundamental theories and skills you need to start DJing.

As with our one-to-one option, there are four two-hour lessons. In the lessons you will learn how to DJ on the industry-standard Rekordbox software and Pioneer DJ equipment. As an official Pioneer DJ Education Partner we offer the best DJ course in London and now it's available at a lower cost!

Graduates of this course will gain all the essential DJ skills and a special LSA certificate. In addition, you can then progress and book the Intermediate and Advanced group DJ courses. On graduation you will be able to access exclusive LSA DJ gig opportunities like performances at Ministry of Sound and Egg!

Course Details

The group course follows the same curriculum as the normal Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced DJ Courses. Instead of being one-to-one, the lessons will be taught in a small group. The lessons will take place in our biggest and best DJ studio, Studio One.

Attendees will benefit from the social aspect of the course along with being able to practice with their classmates and learn about different styles of music.

Our group Beginner DJ Course will teach you all the fundamental theories and skills on the industry-standard Rekordbox software and Pioneer DJ equipment. Everything you need to start DJing properly including; how to prepare sets, how to beatmatch, how to use the decks and mixer, how to mix harmonically, how to EQ and blend and crucial understanding like musical phrasing.
