Following the success of our first DJ competition of 2019 we've created a second opportunity for our followers. Enter our latest DJ competition and win a DJ set at Ministry of Sound, the UK's most famous club! To enter the competition read this blog and follow the instructions below. Make sure you complete all the requirements as competition for this DJ gig will be insane! This is a life-changing opportunity for an up-coming DJ! Submit a mixtape by the 14th of October to win.
An Internationally Recognised Club
Ministry of Sound was founded in 1991 and has a long history of being at the forefront of dance music. With their own record label they have conquered worldwide dance charts, and have become a household name. DJing at such a club is a badge on honour and many DJs use a performance at Ministry as a springboard to global bookings. We're now giving you the chance to join the ranks of Ministry DJs and this historic insitution of dance music!
LSA and Ministry of Sound
LSA have been working with Ministry of Sound since the beginning. We book DJs for Friday and Saturday nights on a regular basis. Competition for gigs if fierce and we normally only book our graduates so this is a truly unparalleled chance to DJ at the super club! It's vital for the club and LSA that music comes first, we'll only book the best of the best DJs and producers.
How to Enter
To enter this competition and DJ at Ministry of Sound you need to follow the rules below. Make sure you do not skip a step or your entry will not be considered.
- Like, share and comment on our Facebook post with the Ministry of Sound video and tag three friends.
- Email submittolsa@gmail.com with your full name and your DJ name so we can send you some artwork.
- Upload your DJ mix with our artwork to Mixcloud or Soundcloud.
- Post the link to your mix in the comments on the Facebook post.
- Email us the link to your mix to submittolsa@gmail.com
- Sign up for our mail-out by clicking here for the winner announcement.
Last entries will be taken on the 14th of October and the winner announced on the 21st of October!
How the Ministry of Sound DJ Competition is Judged
You can upload a mix between 30 mins and 60 mins using the competition artwork. We will judge the mix based on music selection and technical ability. We expect it to be beat-matched, harmonic and banging! We love it when entrants go the extra mile and make special intros and we also love it when they include special remixes. We expect the mix to be high energy. This competition is for dance music, so please no Hip-Hop or RnB for this mix and keep the BPM over 120.

T&C's
This competition is available for anyone 18+. The winner will be booked to DJ at Ministry of Sound on one of the upcoming LSA events. They run twice monthly and you will have a choice of a few dates to choose from. The winner will need to organise their own transport to the club and accommodation if needed. The winner will be on official artwork. This DJ slot is not paid in anyway or transferable for any other prize.
