Our next round of Club DJ Course graduates are ready to hit the decks on Saturday the 8th of March 2025. Our DJ course students take over the Loft arena at the club for a long night of House, Tech and Techno music. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for our aspiring DJs to show off their skills to a live audience. All Club DJ Course graduates receive this chance to launch their DJ career from one of London's most famous venues.

London Sound Academy x Egg London
London Sound Academy (LSA) and Egg London have a long and fruitful relationship helping up-and-coming DJs break into the industry. The partnership first started in the early 2000s when LSA's founder and chief Buster Bennett was a regular DJ at the club sharing the stage with Diplo, Sinden and more.
During the first decade of the century, years 2002-2010, Buster was famous for running many famous club nights in the London scene including Antisocial, Nuke Them All, Calling All Tribes and Shabba Dabba Da. As a prominent figure in London club scene and music editor of zeitgeist magazine SuperSuper, Buster become a hot commodity and the party-hard crowd of the new-rave era flocked to his underground parties and raves.
In recognition of his success in the world of club promotion, Egg bestowed the coveted Friday nights to Buster in 2010 with the launch of 'Blow' a night that promised to shake up the programming at the club and bring in a fresh new crowd.
As the same time their relationship deepened, Buster had launched London Sound Academy (formerly 808 DJ Academy.) At first the academy was based in The Ghetto, on Old Street but following the closure of the club Buster moved operations to Egg itself, teaching inside the clubs cavernous spaces. Later, Buster would open an LSA studio directly above Egg's old entrance on York Way offering DJ and music production tuition.
As LSA and Egg's ethos os supporting underground DJs was so highly aligned it was only natural for LSA to start booking DJs for the club, hosting regular room takeovers across the venues many arenas. Fast forward to 2025 and hundreds of LSA DJ graduates have performed at the club.
During this time the area around Egg was rapidly developing, moving from a mostly derelict industrial area to what is now a thriving tech hub and residential development. It's close proximity to Kings Cross and the Eurostar creating an incredible catalyst for the regeneration of the area. Huge companies like Google now operate just a stones throw from Egg's doorstep.
Eventually, LSA moved operations to vibrant Camden Town, a short walk from the club and began a decade of consolidation and growth, fast becoming the highest-rated electronic music academy in London.
In 2024, Egg and LSA revisited the idea of teaching inside the club itself, offering aspiring DJs the opportunity to practice and learn on Egg's epic sound system. A new program was designed and the Club DJ Course was launched. All the DJ press including Mixmag and DJ Mag jumped on the news and it was widely reported not only by UK based publications but further afield representing how globally attractive the program is.
During six weeks, DJs will learn how to improve their DJ skills and prepare for their first performance at Egg itself. All graduates of the course will perform in the club, offering an unparalleled and rare gateway into the DJ scene and music industry.
