LSA’s DJ Course

Our DJ course is world renowned, we have many famous success stories including chart toppers, Skin, Tough Love, Leo Kaylan, Aluna George and radio DJs including those from BBC 1XTRA, Capital FM, Rinse FM and more! The DJ Course is designed to take you from zero to hero in a short space of time covering all aspects of how to DJ like a pro using the latest technology.

There are three parts to our accredited DJ course; The Beginner Course, Intermediate Course and the Advanced Course form the LSA Pro DJ Certification. Each course consists of four two-hour lessons, of which you have the freedom to book around your own schedule. Once all three levels are completed the student will graduate, receive their certificate and join the LSA Alumni community.

Courses are just £289 and there is a 10% discount available for those buying all three courses.

Enrolment Criteria

Your kids don’t need any prior experience to join LSA and enrol on our DJ Course. To date we’ve taught kids as young as six years old, so generally we use that as a bench-mark for what age they can start lessons. No prior musical knowledge is needed, so anyone can join the DJ lessons with confidence. All abilities levels are catered for including children with learning difficulties or disabled children. You don’t need to schedule any homework time either as the course criteria will all be covered in the lessons.

A lot of parents also ask about DJ equipment, but you don’t need any DJ equipment to enrol on the Beginner DJ Course, however for the more advanced lessons it’s recommend that the students either come to the studio to practice or get something to use at home. We can help you there too because LSA can supply DJ equipment cheaper than all the DJ shops.

Benefits Of The Course

We find the kids DJ lessons really help kick-start a love of learning in all our underage DJs. The one-to-one lessons really help because we can coach them on a personal level, taking into account their own learning style. It’s known that music education increases the connection between left and right hemispheres of the brain and adds to a child’s overall intelligence, coordination, language and problem solving skills. Not to mention there are other many other benefits of experience in music, like an increase in overall confidence, stress relief and healing qualities.
