Blanka Barbara Remix Competition
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for our music production students and followers to sign to LSA records! Past-graduate, DJ and music producer Blanka Barbara will soon be releasing 'Lights of London' on LSA. It's a progressive house single perfect for remixing.
Here's where you come in! We are looking for a talented remixer to reimagine the track and create a killer remix for the release. The remix will then be released across all platforms globally on LSA records this September.
This could be the perfect opportunity for a new producer to break into the limelight!

About Blanka Barbara
Blanka Barbara is a melodic progressive techno producer, DJ, live act, and label owner (Rabbit Records).
Coming from the classical composer’s background, Blanka puts musicality and enchanting storytelling through music first. Carefully steered sonic and emotional experiences are an integral part of her productions, live performances and DJ sets.
After a successful series of weekly livestreams on Twitch, Blanka Barbara has matured into becoming a much-wanted guest performer. She streamed for ‘World Lockdown Festival 2020’, PM:AM Events, Beirut Underground, Blue Oyster, Electric Offense, became resident DJ at 4AM Events since June 2020 and at StoneBeatsDJs since September 2020. Blanka Barbara live-streamed an intricate progressive set as part of Women Strike (Strajk Kobiet) movement – ‘Strike Back’, a 24h stream in support of women rights in Poland - on 12-13 December 2020. Since November 2020, Blanka is hosting her own show ‘BBBoiler’ on Deep Radio London.
Blanka’s weapon of choice in the studio as well as on stage is Ableton Live.
While performing it enables her to have total control over sound and blend
conscientiously chosen tracks with hypnotic rhythmic patterns and beguiling synth waves, each time creating a unique, captivating and unrepeatable soundworld for the listeners.
Her recent release 'Amsterdam Diamond' on LSA has been a break-away hit and the second highest grossing single to date!
HOW TO ENTER
To enter this competition please email us (hello@londonsoundacademy.com) with a link to your Soundcloud page where we can listen to your productions. If you are selected we will send you the stems to the track so you can start remixing. If you feel like you need help to remix the track just get in touch for one-to-one music production lessons either online or in our London studios. You can also book lessons in our Manchester, Birmingham and Oxford studios too!
You are free to experiment with the stems and produce any style of music you like. We are really looking for something to blow us away so feel free to think outside of the box!
The deadline for this competition is the 1st of July 2021. The winning remix will then be announced in the following days and the release will be scheduled for September 2021. Your track will be available on all platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and Beatport.
